We have a range of hand-dyed embroidery threads from South African company House of Embroidery. The hand dying process produces a beautiful variation in colour in each thread, giving a wonderful variegated look to your work. The high quality threads are light-fast, colour-fast and wash-fast. All are colour co-ordinated and can serve as an accent to other threads or can be the dominant feature in your embroidery. Try combining two different hand-dyed fibres or one hand-dyed fibre with a traditional floss, metallic or silk thread. Experience has shown that the hand-dyed threads work well with just about any other fibre. The colours are so exciting you just have to experiment, be creative!
