Embroidery and cross stitch threads

William de Morgan and his assiatant Halsey Ricardo designed a number of ceramic tiles featuring swans. This fabulous cross stitch pattern based on one of their designs is FREE. It uses fabulous hand dyed threads from Gumnut Yarns, Dinkey Dyes and Gloriana.

The design is worked on 14 count Aida fabric and the worked area measures 5¼ x 5¼ ins (13 x 13cm).

You will need:

14 count white Aida fabric, 9 x 9 ins;
Gumnut Yarns 'Stars' silk thread - numbers 367, 706 and 999;
Gloriana 12 strand silk thread - numbers 102 and 105;
Dinky Dyes silk thread - numbers 50 and 93.
