Paterna Yarn

Paterna yarn is 100% virgin wool yarn of quality, durability, and luxurious color. There are a fabulous 418 colour in the range.

Paterna Persian yarn is well known the world over for its superiority for needlework. This yarn exhibits great strength and resilience which prevents it from breaking and fraying during stitching - a common weakness in lesser yarns.

Skeins are 8 yards ready cut into 9 x 33" (approx) lengths.

¼lb hanks when cut give a minimum of 185 x 33" lengths but most give in excess of 195 lengths.

Note: Paterna yarn was manufactured under license in the UK until 2005 but is no longer available. We now stock imported US yarn (Paternayan). The ranges differ slightly and there are not necessarily direct equivalents for the additional colours that were in the UK range but are not in the US range (mainly colours prefixed D***). If you need an equivalent colour please contact us at the address below.
