| "Starting
with an overall idea of autumnal fruits this piece
had several sources. The pumpkins were mostly prompted
by William Hammer's painting 'Baskets of Fruit
on the Steps of a Terrace' (1852). The picture
had many other details that would translate into
needlepoint; however the only other one I have used
is the stone-tiled floor. The same artist also painted
a still life of 'Figs, Walnuts, an Orange and
a Lemon', from which I garnered ideas for the
rest of my design." |

The design is
available in two sizes:
- Worked on
14 gauge canvas, the worked area measures 17¾"
x 17" suitable for a tapestry pillow or cushion.
Available as either a printed or unprinted canvas
kit.
- Worked
on 10 gauge canvas, the worked area measures 25¼"
x 24¼" suitable for a tapestry wall hanging.
Available as an unprinted canvas kit only.
A pattern pack
is also available.
