Counted Cross Stitch Kit: Burne Jones 'Andromeda - Front View'

These counted cross-stitch designs are based on details from two of the paintings in the Perseus series, 'The Rock of Doom' and 'The Doom Fulfilled'. Andromeda is chained to a rock as a sacrifice to the god Poseidon, but is rescued from the monster by Perseus, her future husband.

The designs are worked on 28 count Zweigart Cashel linen and the worked area measures 10½ x 3 ins (27 x 8 cm).
