'Beauclair Lillies' counted cross stitch kit

This counted cross stitch kit was inspired by the drawing of a brooch design by Rene Beauclair. It appeared in a journal entitled 'Dessins d'Ornamentation Plane en Couleurs, 1900'. A copy of this book is housed in the New York Public Library, Astor, Lenox and Tilden Foundation, New York, USA.

The design is worked on 28 count Zweigart Cashel linen and the worked area measures 7¼ x 4½ ins (18.5 x 11 cm).
