These four counted cross-stitch designs are based on Art Nouveau ceramic tiles. They bear many similarities to the tiles of the Arts & Craft Movement, being still very stylised in design, but differ from the earlier ones in the greater emphasis on the actual lines of form being more sinuous and organic.
